Medtrek Ambulance is hiring Florida-licensed paramedics for ALS and Critical Care transports across Southwest Florida. You’ll run interfacility transfers between the region’s hospitals with modern ALS equipment — cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and ventilator-capable CCT units — without the burnout pace of a 911 system.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver ALS-level care during interfacility and critical care transports
- Manage cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and medication administration en route
- Lead the clinical crew and mentor EMT partners on every ALS unit
- Coordinate handoffs with sending and receiving hospital teams
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation for every patient
Requirements
- Active Florida Paramedic certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Sound clinical judgment and calm, professional patient communication
Nice to have
- PALS and critical care transport (CCT/FP-C) credentials
- Experience with ventilators and IV pumps during transport
