Medtrek Ambulance is hiring Dispatch Coordinators for our 24/7 communications center in Naples. Dispatchers are the heartbeat of our on-time performance — scheduling transports, routing units across Collier and Lee counties, and keeping facilities and families informed from pickup to drop-off.
What You’ll Do
- Answer transport requests from hospitals, nursing facilities, and families
- Schedule and assign BLS, ALS, and CCT units for maximum on-time performance
- Track crews in real time and proactively communicate ETAs to facilities
- Verify transport details — level of care, equipment needs, and paperwork
- Keep clear records of every call and dispatch decision
Requirements
- Strong multitasking and clear communication under time pressure
- Comfort with scheduling software, phones, and radio traffic
- Professional phone manner with patients, families, and facility staff
- Valid Florida driver’s license
Nice to have
- EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatch) certification
- Prior EMS, medical transport, or healthcare scheduling experience
